Hiding objects in Drawing views of assembly

I hope this isn't a stupid question.
I've been fighting with this all day.
I have two square tubes that are to be welded together in a "T" shape. I've drawn them using welded structural steel from the SW menus.
I have not added the weld beads. Not sure if they're necessary.
I am currently trying to create a drawing of them.
I have an iso view of both in the finished position.
I want to show what the end looks like on the one, (has curves to match the shape of the other, and tabs that side into holes) and what the mating holes look like.
I can't figure out how to hide each one individually in each view. When I hide it in one ciew, it hides them in all views.
I've been thru the "Help", the FAQ's on the SW site, and searched both there and here with no answers.
Is there a simple thing I'm missing here?

Are you trying to hide the components in the model or in there respective drawing views. If in the model it will update in all views.

In the drawing, expand/open one of the views. Right click the component you wish to hide and a menu should appear with the hide option.

All of those methods used to work... I'm thinking I've done this many times, and never had problems
I'm using 2005 now. I know I've done this in earlier releases.
I think maybe there is a mistake in the RMB pop-up window.
When I RMB on the body and click "Component, Show/Hide" it asks me if I want to "Show hidden edges".
When I click "Properties", There is no "Hide/Show components".
So do you guys think this a bug?

David

David,
Try the same thing on a non-welded assembly drawing. I am thinking it is a Weldment thing.

OK... I just created a similar part with two bodies like the weldments I tried before.
I'm getting exactly the same results.

Time to call the VAR. That should have worked. It works for me in SW 2005 SP3.1
