high pot certification

Hi , just a little background. I am a unionized electrician in toronto ont. Always had an interest in high pot stress cone terminations. Does any one know where I could take a course in the toronto area and get certified? The company I work for would not have too "sub-out" this procedure anymore and possibly sell the service. I need too learn terminations up to 44KV. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks , Larry

Here in southwest Louisiana, a phone call to the vendors of 3M or RayChem will get you a class with them on their products, especially if you have a half dozen or so people for training. Those are the two most commonly used brands of termination kits.

I don't know if you guys have some sort of industry or government training requirements, but as of this moment, we don't. The electrical contractor makes the determination that he has qualified people and that his client is satisfied with those qualifications.
