Hello All,

We are trying to prepare Design philosophy of High-pressure vessels ( > 700 bar) using ASME sec8 div 3 in my organization.

Please share any book, existing licensor or PMC specification for High pressure vessels Design for reference and guidance.

Hi,

There are currently only 49 pressure vessel manufacturers with a U3 Certificate of Authorization, according to the ASME database.
I recommend reaching out to one of them for formal consultation.
Given the significance of your project, relying on recommendations from the Internet may not be the most prudent approach.

The literature he is asking for may be found within a manufacturers with a U3 Certificate of Authorization.
He better reaching out to one of them for help.

Why not read scope and jurisdiction in Div.3?
This is enough.

Hi Ronak,
out of curiosity, which industry are you catering for such a high-pressure value? Nuclear?

Regards

Hello @Ariba01123

We cater to Oil & Gas, pet-chem and fertilizer industry. As of Now, we do not have any specific Vessel to design but my organization is preparing for any upcoming equipment specifically in hydrogen service.

Hello @r6155, we are reading div3, but we wanted to understand more theoretical background in non-linear analysis of pressure vessels and fracture mechanics, so that we can apply div3 sensibly.

Hello Ronak,

Best wishes to you and firm.

Hello IdanPV

Thanks for the guidance.
