High strength bolts for corrosive environment

I'm looking to specify high strength bolts (nominal tensile strength = 150 ksi) which would be Group C bolts per ACI 360 Table J3.2. We are going to use them in a corrosive environment for a salt storage shed, which appears to be excluded per AISC J3.1. Is there a bolt available that maintains the high strength but is galvanized or stainless thus not limited to non-corrosive environments?

In a high Cl environment don't use 304 or 316 SS.
The logical choice would be 2205, but they are not quite as strong as you are looking for.
I have seen the offered cold finished at that strength level, but I believe that those were custom.

Normally use cad-plated bolts in highly corrosive salt environments. Why the need for high strength bolts? Any savings on bolting will probably be offset by the cost of sourcing a one-off like this.

canwesteng,

How long do your cadmium coated bolts last? My experience is that they last a few weeks before corrosion sets in. A poor choice.

They're used extensively in salt heavy environments and perform better than anything other than high end stainless. I'd be surprised if you're seeing them in practice that often let alone seeing them corrode, since it's use is restricted by the EPA and is only used in aerospace and salt heavy mineral processing as I understand.

Shows how much I know. I thought the yellow plated bolts were cadmium plated. Zinc chromate? They are expansion anchors from big box hardwares, and don't last long.
