Hi
Can anyone help, I am lookin at fibre optic cable and its use in high temp enviroment > 1000 Deg C, unfortunatley the max temp I have seen is 400 Deg C.
Is there a product available, sapphire fibre with platinum coating maybe or are these temperatures unatainable.

What are you trying to do?

Thanks IRstuff, great help, good links.

I am looking at trying to install fibre optical cable into a furnace to monitor heat profile.
