Hello,

I am trying to seal two long plates from industrial oil. This green plastic body is at the bottom of hot oil tank. plates expose to oil. It is difficult to overmold so I am thinking of push in these plates in to plastic. but I will have leakage problem. Do you think epoxy seal around plates will survive in oil? Oil temperature can go from minus degrees to 160C.

How much pressure? What is you acceptable leak rate? Don't say zero, everything leaks, it's just a question of how fine your leak detection system has to be.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.

No significant pressure. Just weight of the oil. max 10lb. I will have electronics in the bottom cavity and my oil will be dirty with water, acids and bases. My electrical board will have some protection but with effect of temperature not sure how long it will survive. Oil do not damage electronics but contaminants do. I would say seal I can invest best possible seal.
