I have run into a new roof joist for which I can't seem to find any data. Circa 1953, school in Detroit. I did not visit the site, but this is a photo from the contractor. The lattice shape is like that of Kalmantruss, but it is not formed from one piece of steel, with T's for top & bottom chords, with welded webs. It is also an odd dimension 13 1/2" deep. Has anyone encountered this type of joist?
