Hello, I have a question about building a home amplifier. I drive a car on its last leg and the stereo was stolen from it.(which didn't work anyways, so i hope someone's really enjoying it). But, I was wondering how difficult it would be to build a simple amplifier so I can hook up my MP3 player to the speakers. It runs on a simple AA batery.

I have a selection of old stereo's that I might be able to take parts from if that might help. I really know little about this.

If there is another forum that might be better suited for this question can someone please let me know.

Cheers

I commend you on your gung-ho attitude. However making an audio amplifier of the quality deemed resonable for listening is WAY beyond the pages of this forum and not trivial.

I you want to actually construct one *you* should start by finding a kit amplifier. There are several around. They usually work well, and are well documented.

Search for "Electronic kits audio amplifier"
