Hook Carry Bar - Rebar Shop Drawings

Hello All,

I recieved a set of rebar shop drawings to review, I realized that there is additional bars on the side (which are not indicated on the provided engineering drawing). Thess rebars are labelled "HOOK CARRY BAR", I am not sure what are those? Are those to facilitate installation in some way ?

You say..., “ additional bars on the side...,” which side? We can’t see them from here. Why not ask the detailer?

Detailers often include additional pieces of rebar to use to support the cages, tie off to, etc.

Just as Atrizzy said. Supplementary bars are common (almost universal) and should not pose a problem except in highly congested regions.
