Is it correct that Caesar calculates the Hoop stress differently for different design codes. I've notice that for ASME B31.4 and B31.8 that Caesar does not take out the mill tollerance and corrosion allowance from the wall thickness. Is this correct? And for ASME B31.3, the hoop stress is calculated by taking out the corrosion allowance but not the mill tolorance from the wall thickness. Also, what is the correct diameter to use OD, ID or mean diameter.

Thanks

Most of the parameters that control hoop stress and other calculations can be customised in Config and Special Execution files.

Caesar II does as you tell it.
