Horizontal sliding doors

Can horizontal glass sliding doors be used as the entrance to a suite in a health care occupancy?

I realize that corridor doors should normally latch. Are these considered "powered doors" that don't require mechanical latching in the corridor by the NFPA 101?

can you define suite
and is this a true hospital or something else??

1. hospital room

2. some ones office

3. break room

4. some other room use???

 
A manual or powered sliding door may be allowed, if it is not part of the means of egress. Doors in a corridor may require latching if the corridor is to be smoke protected and/or fire rated.

It is very difficult to look at one door without the context of the entire building.
