Hi Etabs users,
I have a problem, I've modeled a rubber isolator in etabs 2013 but when I tried to assign the link propertie to joint element, cannot.
I tried it, in the same way with Etabs v9 (menu Assign > Joint/Point > Link properties), but didn't work. I hope you can help.
Thanks.

Hello!
I have the same problem, I've modeled a rubber isolator in etabs 2013 but when I tried to assign the link propertie to joint element, cannot.
Can explain in more detail please, thanks!!

Thank you "femana" for your reply and it works...
Sotavento, I try to explain:
1.- You define the isolator in link elements.
2.- Then you define points springs, and assign the link (isolator) in the spring definition's (Single Joint Links at Point), click in add, and search your link and choose the axial direction +Z. The rest of the propierties (Simple Spring Stiffness in Global Directions) are 0.
My reference are the example 13 in the analysis reference (Documentation in ETABS).

Good Look.
