How can I carry out the free-size/sizing and suffle optimization in abaqus?

I should carry out optimization in abaqus. In optistruct there are three steps to design a composite optimization. 1. Free-size optimization, 2. Sizing optimization and 3. is Suffle optimization. Although In optistruct there is free-size optimization part, there is no such an option in Abaqus.. Which option can be used in abaqus?? Please hel it is my teamproject and I am stuck

Abaqus doesn’t have such a built-in workflow for composite optimization but you can try to perform a similar study using available types of optimization: topology, sizing, shape and bead. Check the documentation of Tosca optimization module to find out how they actually work. For example, sizing can be used to optimize shell thicknesses. This one, along with topology optimization, might be what you are looking for.
