how can I create a new tool option

Hello,

I want to know, how I can create a new tool option on NXCAM.

For example: on NX default, is ball mill (no indexable)

I want to create a tool option, ball miil (indexable),

as some tools before. No indexable and indexable tools.

And how can I save, the created ball mill indexable tools, on tool_database.dat

I have done some testing, but don't solve anything

I believe you are asking to create a new class in the tool library. If so, look in the help in Manufacturing, Manufacturing General, NX Library, Customizing NX Library, Creating New Classes and Sub Classes.

If you want to export tools from NX in to this class, in addition to what is in the help, you will need to modify the dbc_tool_ascii_export.tcl file to include your new classes.
