Hi everyone!

I've been working at assembly component with cylinders and it's necessary to show this ones on drawing.
When I was working on Inventor, it's just to use Overlay command, but now I'm using NX8 and I couldn't find this way.

So, someone can give me a help? I want show One view with overlay of cylinders.

Thanks in advance.

That sounds something like using 'Layers' and 'Visible in View'.

You might need to throw in 'Render Sets' as well.

Enter overlay in your command finder and see if those two things apply to what you need here

You can control visibility of items in drafting view using Format>>Layer Visible in View

Otherwise use Reference sets.

If it is a component in assembly, then try using Hide/Show Components in View

In abscence of an answer, I made a demo using NX9. But this workflow is applicable to a number of versions.

So this is how I would have made it. The model is really rather crude and is nowhere as good-looking as in the original request, but you will get the idea.

Hi PrintScaffold, sorry to not answer you before,
I'm using NX8.

But this video will help me for sure, thank you very much!
