Hello,

When we used to work in Solid Edge we had our dimension color and text color set to teal, on the drawings, as standard. It maked it easy to see what was diminsion lines and part lines. Can you do the same in Catia V5? I only whant to change the color of the dimension and text on the drawings, not the 3D.

With kind regards
Rebecka

Tanks for your tip @itsmyjob. I have now read some about XML Drafting Standard, and it seams like I have to have an Admin-account to get access to change this. But I do not have rights to have that tho I work on a big company. Is there any other way to solve my problem?

Would turning on the "Analysis Display Mode" work for you?
(i think it is in the visualization toolbar)

No, it does not work. When I create a dimension myself it will be black, and the other ones red, pink, green and so on. I want all of my dimensions to be this teal/petrol colored and all of my text too. But thanks for helping anyway @garzar

you might not need system admin access, just CATIA admin.

But if you look deeper, you can edit files just like that (no need to CATIA admin).

If your CATIA env is using some read only folder then yes you need to talk to your IT.
