Hi,

I am populating some of the notes like ECO number, drawing name, title, revision from TCE into the UGNX drafting sheet title block programatically. These notes should not be edited by the user. Any idea how I can make these non-editable so that users cannot go and change these values.

Thanks in advance

It's going to be difficult to make a note absolutely un-editable, at long as it remain a note. The easiest thing to try that will at least slow them down is to place all of the notes that you wish to be seen, but not edited, on a separate layer and then set that layer to be visible only.

Or if you absolutely want to prevent editing, you will need to come up with some code to convert the strokes of the letters into actual line segments and then I would still place them on a visible only layer.

Try sending the text out to a CGM file and back, or make it part of a pattern file if it is something that you regularly use, or even part of your drawing formats. These days for a short not you could just create the text using the text feature under curves, and then if you want to delete the parameters so that it is reduce to merely a grouped set of curves.
