Hello,

I need to be able to measure the sum of multiple line segments using the measure command and have the measure result that is provided equal the total curve length (all segments as if they were a single curve).

Currently I must measure each line segment separately in a chain of segments, record each segment length value and then add all of the segment lengths together at the end to get the total curve length. Very time consuming and repetitive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Fernando,

Thanks for the reply!

I am cutting a section in a large CATProduct with many instances and the section result has multiple segments. Can a join be performed in a section?

I also tried exporting the CATProduct as a CATPart and then creating a sketch plane and performing an intersection but the result is still multiple segments.

In Drafting I tried cutting a section but again there are multiple line segments.

Will join command work in any of these situations?

Thanks!

Ken
