How do I view the visual results of a single component in GAS 1

I would find it extremely useful if someone could tell me how i would go about viewing the individual visual results (i.e. principal stress) of a single component of an assembly when the analysis has been carried out on an assembly using GAS.
I have two individual meshes and connection meshes but cannot view the results of either one individually

is there something i need to do in pre-processing to allow me to do this when results are shown?

Sorry should make it clear that i am using:
Catia V5, R18, SP5 with the GAS license

double click the results image in the tree & change the selections

sorry i did not explain very clearly. I will try again.

I have an assembly and i want to view the results of a single component in that assembly. Essentially, i have two connected parts and i want to hide part1 so that i can view all surfaces of part2 and then visa-versa.
So although i have conducted the analysis on the assembly; i want to view each of the component results individually.

For example
initial view is:
assembly results with part1 and part2 shown (principal stress)

i want to then view
assembly results with part1 (principal stress) but not showing part2

then:
assembly results with part2 (principal stress) but not showing part1

i hope i explained better this time

Displaying images of indiviual components / modes etc is exactly what the selections in the results image does. If on the other hand you want three images of the same type each displaying a different component in the tree, this is more difficult

if the images are displaying different criteria then you can have multiple images of the same base type ie "Stress principal tensor symbol" and "Tensor for maximum shearing" in the tree

there is a way of forcing it to display multiple images of the same type & criteria but different components, but it is a bit messy

Create first image of particular type - modify what criteria it displays
Create second image of same type as the first
modify the first image back to the same criteria as the second image
you can use the selections to change what is displayed on each image

This appears to work (a bit nasty) but who knows if CATIA will suddenly set them all back to the default or something equally annoying

cheers

that is exactly what i needed.
its a bit messy but it works
cheers again
