Hi!

I was wondering how can one use the Intel MKL-library in FEA module of catia.

I have the library installed but when i try to do a simple statical-FEA i get a worning telling me that no MKL library found and the process will take longer due to this.

Pleas let me know how to attach or set the MKL library to work with CATIA v5r9.

Thanks!!

Hello,

In order to use correctly the MKL librairies with CATIA V5R9, you need to have the proper MKL librairies installed : MKL 5.1e (not available anymore at the Intel website unfortunately). Then you need to add this line in your PATH environment variable :
C:\Program Files\intel\MKL\ia32\bin
If you do not have the MKL 5.1e library, I suggest you contact IBM so they give it to you.

HI again!

I have downloaded the MKL 5.2 library. Will this work with Catia v5r9 or i have to have the old 5.1 library!

Thanks for the previous answer!!!

Hi again,

Unfortunately, the 5.2 MKL library is not supported on the V5R9, i think it will be supported with the V5R11 or something like that. Therefore yes, you HAVE to install the 5.1e library, sorry for the bad news !

Cheers

Thanks for the help.

I have trouble finding this library (MKL 5.1e) though. Could some one be so kind and help me find an eval. version of it?

Thanks lots.!!!
Cheers
