How do you pals estimate size of gutters and downpipes? 2

I came across a publication, but unfortunately it was all about small houses. Gutter sizes were too small for my applications which usually involve drained widths of around 30ft(10 meters).

Considering CONVENTIONAL ROOF DRAINAGE (Not syphonic systems or any other systems), I will appreciate any rules of thumb or any bit of info.
