It sounds to me like you're working on a school paper of some sort. If so, then I think it would be best for you to do a bit more reading first, so that you can ask some specific questions.

Power ratings, for example, will vary tremendously based on the application. (Also, this seems like a very odd question to ask, unless you have a highly specific application in mind.)
