Robotic Welding

Hi all,

I've recently began a project to implement a robotic welder within a metal fabricating company. The company are favouring Cloos as the company to supply the micro cell, currently viewing the "QR-MC-1.2M Micro System".

Would anyone have any experience with using any robotic equipment from Cloos, or even this system in particular? If so would you recommend them? Are there any extra features which you've choose to purchase which have had a positive impact on the robotic welder i.e. automated cleaning system etc? And likewise, are there any feature(s) which in hindsight you would not have bothered investing in?

I am just trying to gather a better understanding into the weld set-up which we should end up going for and prevent investing in anything extra which perhaps would not be worthwhile.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to me that the feature set required is best answered by your customer, who should have specified the requirements for the welding process and any additional features they currently don't have and want.
