As I live in Asia, it is morning when the games are played in the USA at night. Being a Tribe Fan, I pissed that we blew it - but given that the Manager of the Cubbies (Joe Madden) is a fraternity brother, there was a bit of redeeming value. Before Game 6 I woke up ready to watch the game but I had a bad feeling. This cartoon says it all:

But then I do realize this is trivial compared to the seismic activity being felt by McCoy . Stay Safe my friend.

BigH, the cartoon is good, apparently pessimistic but I believe Charlie Brown describes the results of some hormonal release (or lack of it) which is triggered at night and in the early morning. I am a desultory sleeper and when I wake up in the night and early in the morning my on-the-spur view is very often full of worry and pessimism.

A while later the mind acquires a definitely matter-of-fact, pragmatistic and sometimes optimistic view. My previous feelings seem utterly trivial and unfounded. Go figure it.

Giovanni Guidi is very good, I've just listened to one of his live concerts on Youtube. Thanks for the tip, he's pretty young and not very much known, I just wonder how you discovered him.

One of the jazz facebook sites lists new releases - ECM release mentioned his name . . .
