Underpinning in sand

Could anybody give some advice….a house built on sand with no foundations but has been standing for 150 years with hardly any movement. New owner wants to build a basement extension and first floor extension linking to the gable end. Cannot work out how to keep the gable end safe whilst drilling 51 steel piles…any ideas? BedRock is 8.5m down.
