Hi
i have a Stress-strain curve from experimental results. i want to model this experiment with abaqus but i don't know how exert load in models to reach this curve, Do i use experiment stress-strain curve for exert loads in boundaries?

picture of axial stress and radial stress and axial strain is available in below:

When you want to replicate the experiment, then you should apply the load in same way as there.

I can't agree with Mustaine3, of course you need true stress strain curve like in picture, but you have to know tangent modulus of this material and subtract elastic deformation region. Then you can define this curve in material model.

Hi NecroSPEL
i have other material property like elastic modulus, void ratio, Poisson ratio, density, cohesion yield stress and abs plastic strain.
my problem is that i dont know how exert load in load module,
i have to use SOIL step and pore fluid responses are transient consolidation. There are no talking about how long time period is.
so what can i do?
