how to a density value for models

hi,
i was just wondering how to a density value for models in catia v5 r6, so that under properties it will show mass,material,volume and moment of inertia. thank you very much. vinny

Hi!
You have to apply a material to the object first and the you can measure the Inertia by the measure intertia toolin catia V5.

WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW HOW EXACTLY I WOULD APPLY A MATERIAL TO AN OBJECT?.

Thinking you are in part design workbench go to view>toolbar>apply material or view> commandlist>apply material to choose your material for the part and drag and drop it on the part
U will find that the material is added as the first feature in your history. Double click on the material to change its proterties(some of the default material properties are not defined).
