How to bend an existing solid model

I have a solid model of a piece of flat steel with some bends in it. Near the end of the piece, I need to bend the edges at a 45 degree angle. Is there a way to do this without creating the whole part in Sheet Metal? Thanks.

Attached is a rough idea of what I am trying to do. Near the end of the part, the edges are bent at a 45 degree angle. I already have the part modeled but I don't know how to incorporate that feature.
