Hi everybody,
I'm exploding an assembly to illustrate the components. This is an .xpk file that I bring from IDeas to UG NX4.
I would like to know if there is any method in PMI that I can use to automatically call out the name/part number of the instance in the assembly. I visualize this is how it should work:
I pick an instance--> It should automatically key-in the part number of the part in the screen--> i pick the next part...and so on
I'm very new to UG and I use ideas. So bear with me if I'm too greedy. I know there are some special symbols like <@partname>, but it does not work for me
i also tried attributes in the PMI, but always I get the top assembly name/Part # as the attributes value
I tried in drafting too, but I get baloons with numbers. I'll be OK atleast in drafting I can get the part numbers instead of numbered baloons
Thanks in advance
Victor
