Dear fellow engineers,
I am using ANSYS workbench 2023 R1 for a static analysis. However, I can't select the element type. I can see in the solver output that currently, SOLID187 is assigned. However, I am modelling a structure similar to a construction brick and wonder if shell elements, like 181 aren't more accurate/suitable. Also, how can I change element type in ANSYS Workbench 2023 R1.
Thank you,
Best regards,
Andrade Silva
