I have a magflow meter which seem to have stopped working. It is giving spurious reading even when nothing is passing through it. I have removed it and not found any kind of coating or damage to the internal wall. We have ordered a replacement, however I am not sure if there is anything else I can check to be sure it is in some way damaged. It has been installed without issue for more than 10 years as far as I know.
I just wondered if there is anything I can check? I understand that there is an exciter and a measure circuit. Is there anything I can measure in terms of resistance?
I do not know the manufacturer as there is 10 years of pain covering everything.
Thanks.
