It will depend on what life you need from the pump unit giving 2 choices: cast iron or stainless steel, although you could use bronze but are usually difficult to source.

Are you talking about an electric submersible pump or just a submerged wetend, also - what size pump unit are you considering.

I think you will find for seawater that the salt content is not the problem; it’s the oxygenated water. I would suggest duplex stainless or Nichol – aluminum – bronze impellers.

The cheapest choice should be GG25 hydraulic parts and pump/motor casing with Zinc Anodes fixed on the pump body/suction or impeller channel. Seal parts using the Viton material. Do remember that Zinc anodes are required to replace every half or one year. A good maintenance insure a long lifetime of the pump which is substantiated in many projects.
If cost is not the most important factor, Ni-Al-Bronze material is perfect. It was commonly used on marine fire-fighting ships.
