How to Connect catia to other Cad software

Hello every one,

I use Geomagic Studio. This software provides a package for catia. In fact, I should can export some geometries to catia simultaneously. But I can not. Because I should set "Port Number" and "Data Exchange Directory" of Geomagic in Catia, but I do not know how to set them.

This software produces a XML file like this in "Data Exchange Directory":

And Catia should read it automatically and create some solid models.

Does anyone know that how should I set "Port Number" and "Data Exchange Directory" in Catia v5R20?

Can you post a sample xml file which you want to import in CATIA ?

Geomagic Studio creates this file and it expects Catia to response it and create this solid in catia!

I never saw such xml file to be imported in CATIA...better ask your CATIA vendor how this can be done and what you need to do it. Maybe there is a specific license in CATIA which is able to import this file but I have doubts....maybe in an other format not this kind of xml.
