Hello,

I have a rather simple model : I-Beam constrained at the 2 edges, with a concentrated force acting in the middle of the beam, on the top-surface of the beam.

I draw the beam, but after, to position the load, I need to selection a point which doesn't exist. So I created a "reference point" on my beam, a the place where I want my load to be applied, and I configured the load.

When I submit the job, it is aborted and my errors are :
"Node set assembly__pickedset6 has not been defined

A concentrated load has been specified on node set assembly__pickedset6. This node set is not active in the model

Analysis Input File Processor exited with an error."

What can I do ?
Thank you

The line that you use for the beam should be split into 2 lines so that a node will be there when meshed. I hope this helps.

I created a wire, so I had a point in the middle of the line.
Thanks for your advice !
