How to create sigma symbol in drafting in version UG NX9

If you are using one of the NX fonts, you will need to find a font set that contains the character you want to display (greekfont, letter S or s).

If you are using a true type font you can use the "character map" program to find the character(s) you want, then copy & paste them into the NX note. Alternately (instead of using character map), you can open a document or webpage that contains the character(s), then copy & paste from there or use the control characters to switch to greekfont for the special character you need (but then the note will show up in 2 different fonts, which may not be desirable).

The sigma character is not in the blockfont, use the greekfont.

Why are you still using UG Fonts when you working in NX 9.0? We've supported TrueType and OpenType fonts since NX 8.0.

Eventually you'll want to consider switching to TrueType/OpenType fonts as we are no longer going to be providing any new updated NX Font files. Also, future support of special characters being applied consistently will be based on the assumption that you're using modern font libraries.
