I am working for an environmental consultant. I do mainly Phase I, Phase II environmental site assessment (ESA) and Underground Storage Tank Removals and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. My work is slowed down quite a bit these days and now my boss is asking me to do some business development work like doing research to get the jobs in remediation, ESA and Occupational Hygiene ( eg. Indoor Air Quality, Asbestoss abatement work or Mould investigation work. I would appreciate if anybody has a knowledge or tips for me or web sites where I can search or bid for jobs or in Ontario, Canada.

An easier task will probably be to find new employment rather than new work. Finding business is very difficult unless you have the resources. Business contacts are probably the surest method to finding work.

The regulatory agencies know best where the problems are and where they would like people like you to concentrate their resources. Ask them and you will be lead to a multitude of opportunities.

Thank you bimr and queque for your valuable tips. I am contacting Real Estate and Insurance Agents these days, but so far no luck.
