How to disable auto snapping in assembly?

Hey.
Does anyone know which config.pro line to modify to stop automatic snapping in assembly?
We have a number of bolts and fittings that are setup with interfaces. But when assembling these to our models Creo fails 99% of the time in hitting the correct snap.

We are using Creo 7.0

All I see are :

COMP_SNAP_ANGLE_TOLERANCE
COMP_SNAP_DIST_TOLERANCE

I hated the component interfaces. Waste of time, but some admins have nothing better to do than to "help."
