I am trying to divide the sphere in two parts but having a problem doing it.
Here's what I did.
- I created a hollow sphere with R1 = 10e-6 and R2=77.5e-6
_ To divide the sphere into two volumes, I created the rectangle area with x1,x2=(77.5e-6,-77.5e-6) and y1,y2= (77.5e-6,-77.5e-6) and offset to 47.5e-6 in z-direction.
- now I'm using Booleans > Divide > Volume by Area but I get the following error message:
"Cannnot project line to surface12. Surface could be twisted of lines do not lie on the surface."
I even used the Divide > Volume by Wrkplane, but the same problem.
Does anyone have any suggestion on why I am getting this error or any other way to split the sphere into two parts?
