How to export jpgs/tiffs to a given resolution from the standard visualization shading mode

Dear all,
I faced the following issue: I would need to export high quality rasters from the standard visualization mode; basically let's say I want to make a screenshot, but at a defined resolution. Simple as that (and a basic standard feature on other softwares I used in the past), but honestly I did not manage to do it.
Please note that I do not want to pass through the drafting/export pdf,jpg,tiff etc...which implies setting all the lines widths, fine tune the lights in the shading mode etc...( a too long and complicated procedure...), Neither I want to Launch a render ( which honestly I found as the only thing that does not work right in NX). I want to set colors, lights, transparencies on my model in the standard shading mode, and just export a jpg or tiff of the current view, but I need to be able to specify the image resolution. All that so to allow me to use these images in standard presentations that we usually setup with other softwares.

Any suggestions?

You do not say what options you would like to achieve, - the dpi, the size etc.
There is a straightforward option called "Capture Studio Image". In pre-ribbon UIF it's under View - Visualization- Capture studio image.
( in the ribbon UIF you better use the Command finder...)
It can deliver 72 dpi or 150 dpi. If you want to go higher you need to render an image. ( rather than do this screendump)
If so, the settings are under View - Visualization- High Quality Image - Image Preferences . Forget the "Format, Display and Plot quality" options, set size and resolution. Render the image AND use the save option IN THE High Quality Image dialog! NOT the File - Export- JPG etc! ( The file- export... is a screendump, your display is somewhere 72-96 dpi and the resolution is what you see.)
