How to extrude a 45 or 90 degree pipe

Hello, I am hoping somebody can tell me how to extrude a 90 or 45 degree elbow. I need the wall thickness to be .5 inches all the way throughout the bend, over to the next side. I know how to extrude a straight pipe or any other model for that matter; but to extrude a bend with a consistent wall thickness, I am not sure how to do that.

Create a sketch of the profile of the pipe, just like you would for an Extrude, only use it to create a Revolve feature, as shown below:.
