I Googled "One way shear for circular column on a circular footing"..... A text book - Limit State Design of Reinforced Concrete by B.C. Punmia et. el. In the book, the footing is divided into four sectors. Area for shear is taken as the difference between the area of the outer sector and the inner sector. The inner sector is assumed at a distance d from the face of the column.
See if that helps.
Thank you so much DST148 (Structural). I would like to give you what i found out just now. In a circular pile, on to a pile cap, the punching shear is considered at 'd' from the face.
Is there 1 way shear for these cases? I am confused now. May be only punching shear is existing! What do you think DST148 (Structural)?
