Hi,
I would like to generate a tiff image without background. Then I will open this file with photoshop to trim around the model. To do this, the file must be generated with an alpha layer. Is it possible with UG Photo ?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Didier

I don't think so but if you're cunning you might try effectively green screening the thing. Using a background colour that is certain not to occur in the foreground image may serve as a convenient colour replacement mask. Using no colour renders the background white, which is generally problematic for using with colour replacement since it is too commonly found in reflected highlights and the like.

You'll need a good image editor like Photoshop to work with you images in this manner but it sounds like you may be into that sort of thing already.

The other way of course is to bring a background into NX as tiff file before you render the part file. It is to be found under Raster Image in the menus.

Best Regards
