In a 3D model, I can not get the nodal stress results inside the model even I choose the element option "nodal stress output". I can get the nodal displacements results.

Maybe this is simple question, but I can not get it through.

Thanks

Hello, Lucy1995!

What element types do you use?
It is possible if your model contains 3D beams to be necessary to display elements based on real constant descriptions in order to see any kind of stresses. A good verification is to list nodal stresses and see what values do you get.
Teoretically, if you get nodal displacements, you get strains (by derivative) and after that by Hooke law the stresses.

If it is possible, send me the input file and I 'll try to fix it for you. (use the mail adress j_onisoru@yahoo.com )
