hey guys,
i have some data and i apply regression on it through excel and i fit through polynomial regression and fit a trendline a and get a equation.Lets say the eqt be 9E-4x^3+7e-3x^2.....

I was wondering about whether i can do the same thing in mathcad.I tried a lot but i could not do it.I then though that i would get the equation in excel and use it in mathcad for my model.I did not understand abt the letter "E".Mathcad does not takethat E.
Anybody who knows either of the solutions just shed a light for me.

Mathcad can do a lot more in regression than Excel. Search for "regression" in Mathcad Help. Or look in Mathcad Quicksheets under Data Analysis "Using Regress: Multivariate Regression" for examples.

9E-4 is scientific notation. In mathcad type 9*10^-4
