how to handle geoetry arcross an assembley?

I 've the problem to (re)color bodyface with a spezific attribute across an assy from more than 600 parts.
Even I had to setup the bodycolor .. has got an other attribute and color. Delete drawings inside some parts of the assy.
Is there a search and select funktion in NX3 to solve this problem easily?

Make sure that the color tables of the component parts and the assembly are the same.
