How to import images at a constant scale?

Hello everyone,

First post here, so I hope it's understandable.

I am trying to import images from ANSYS to be analysed in MATLAB. I am essentially comparing the optical properties of deformed and undeformed 2D models. Therefore, having a constant scale is important.

The problem I am having is that I can't seem to find a way to ensure that images I capture of different models are always at the same scale. As they are different sizes (for example, one may be 2mm thick, one may be 4mm thick) they will be a different sizes on screen.

Is there a way to ensure that all models will always display at the same scale?

Thanks in advance.

Hello again,

Just realised I made a silly mistake, I meant export not import in the above post, so sorry for that.

Why not just export the nodal positions and displacements? Isn't that a more direct way of getting at what you want?

Thanks for that, I was hoping to avoid this method, as it will add a lot of steps compared to taking a screenshot, but it looks like it will be the most accurate for what I need.
