hello, i have a couple of questions about how to learn cnc programing, so, mi mission is learn cnc programing using siemens nx , because i know this program , i was trained succesfully in nx 7.5 essentials desing ,intermediate and assemblies desing, surface and motion, i course that trainings in mexico.

i supouse the nx train will help me to understand the cnc programing, so, i need a manual or something about cnc , but, i feel lost because,i dont know how to start, if somebody have a link or a training course of cnc for "newbies" i will apreciate.

thanks.

Is there a specific machine you want to be able to work with? Or do you just want to train in CNC in general?

The best way to learn CNC is to write the code manually, this will give you some understanding of how it works.
Of course that's now how it's done in the field (at least not anymore), but learning CAM in NX is only step 2 imo.

I think basic CNC code is available on the internet and you will probably find some basic programs as well to help you understand it. I'd start there

NX 7.5.5.4 with Teamcenter 8 on win7 64
Intel Xeon @3.2GHz
8GB RAM
Nvidia Quadro 2000

Noticed the type the second I hit "submit post"

As mcgyvr says, Gcode is pretty simple and self-explanatory. Usually it's slightly machine-dependent though (just the details, the basics are the same everywhere) so you'd be best off getting the manual of one of the machines you'd want to use.
