When working with NX5 we gives each component a different color at assembly level by using "edit object display" or by the automatically button "random object display".

The parts itself has always the standard color white.

When exporting from nx5 to a JT file all colors that where set-up will disappears to the standard color.

Is it possible to export these colors within the JT file?

Thanks a lot

Not as long at you are editing the color of the COMPONENTS in the Assembly and not the actual part files. The JT objects are created from the bodies in the Master Model part files (the detail parts), NOT from the Components in the Assembly. When you edit the Components in the Assembly, you are only editing the color of THAT Component in THAT Assembly and NOT the actual bodies in the Master Model part file.
