I have a Ø12 mm coaxial RF connector that engages with its mate via automated linear motion of the contact unit. It is already floating in Z (longitudinal) direction. But we need 1-2 mm lateral floating as well (XY plane). Below is a simple diagram of it as a section view. Treating the female connector as stationary, how can I modify the current parts to introduce lateral floating into the male connector?
