Hi,

Can anybody help me how to measure the noise used for an offshore equipment.

Equipment : Grease Injection Skid
Application : Offshore use
Standard : Norsok / ISO

Please explain what should be the distance for the measuring point from test equipment.Whether the pump shoulb be run with max pressure / oper.Press.

It should comply as per NORSOK Standard Z-015.But the standard doesn't say about anything how to take the noise level measurement (How much distance away from the equipment/Whether pump should run @ operating /max speed).

Hmm, either the standard is incompetent or you don't understand it.

or both.

Which paragraph of that 54 page document are you referring to?

OK, pay someone else, you are too stupid. The relevant document is S-002. That's $500 so far.

Sorry that may be a little harsh but why couldn't you even find the perfectly understandable definition in 002? Is our time somehow less important than yours?
